Looking for a great way to spend the day with your ohana and see nearly 50 vintage aircraft from World War II, Korea and Vietnam, then look no further than the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. Located on historic Ford Island, PHAM leverages the aircraft that first rose up in defense of Ford Island during the infamous Dec. 7, 1941 attack, along with artifacts and personal stories that followed.
Named "America's #1 Historical Spot Worth Traveling For" Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum provides an unparalleled experience for everyone.....and you don't have to leave our island to visit this major attraction. See rare World War II era aircraft including a Flying Tigers P-40, a Douglas SBD Dauntless and a B-17 Flying Fortress positioned along side Vietnam and Korean War era helicopters and jets, and modern aircraft still in service, such as the F-14, F-15 and F-16.
Hours are 9a-5p everyday. Shuttle buses depart every 15 minutes from the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites Visitor Center. FYI, for security purposes, no bags/purses are allowed on this active military base but there is a bag storage facility that charges a nominal fee and accepts credit cards.
