Official Contest Rules

1. “Adventist Health Castle King of The Castle Father’s Day Giveaway” (“Contest”) is open to any legal resident of the United States, eighteen (18) years-of-age or older, who resides in the KHCM-FM, KKOL-FM, KGU-FM, KAIM-FM, KHNR-AM broadcast listening area.  Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and immediate family and household members of Salem Media of Hawaii, Inc., licensee of KHCM-FM (“Radio Station”), NeoFill, their parent company, their parents’ affiliated companies, and their advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to participate in the Contest.  Entrants may enter the Contest one (1) time per day during the Contest Period. 
    
2. There will be a total of one (1) Grand Prize Winner.  The Contest will be conducted between 12:01 A.M. HST on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 and 11:59 P.M. HST on Thursday, June 17, 2021 (the “Contest Period”) solely online at www.HawaiiSalem.com (Radio Station website).  Entrants may enter the Contest during the Contest Period by going to the Radio Station website and clicking on the Contest link. Entry to the Contest requires first and last name, e-mail address and phone number.  The one (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected by random drawing on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. HST from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period and notified via telephone and/or e-mail submitted during entry.  No purchase necessary.  Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received.  

1. The Grand Prize will consist of the following:  One (1) Island Sportswear Sports-Themed beach Prize Pack which includes: one (1) tent, one (1) chair, one (1) cooler and four (4) Koozies logoed with winner’s team of choice, also one (1)-night stay on the nineteenth (19^th) floor in the Moana Suite w/ Deck at the Double Tree by Hilton Alana Waikiki.  The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $1,200.00.  No transfer, substitution or cash equivalent will be given for the Prize, provided however, Radio Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute a prize of equal or greater value.  No transfer, substitution or cash equivalent will be given for the Prize, provided however, Radio Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

1. Prize winners will be responsible for all taxes, fees, gratuities and all other expenses associated with the Prize.  Other restrictions will apply as set forth on the Double Tree by Hilton Alana Waikiki Beach winner’s certificate.  The “staycation” certificate is valid until June 1, 2022.  Blackout Dates will be from December 5, 2021 through January 2, 2022.  Rooms are booked on a first come, first served basis and are dependent upon availability.

1. The Winners may have to complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability and, where lawful, publicity release.  If Radio Station does not receive the affidavit and release by Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. HST, the Prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.  Except where prohibited by law, by signing the affidavit and release, the winner grants permission to the use of his/her/its name, likeness, picture, portrait, hometown, service mark, voice, biographical/other information, and statements for advertising and promotional purposes for this and other promotions by Radio Station without any additional compensation. The winner must go to Radio Station’s office located at 1160 North King St., 2^nd Floor, Honolulu, HI 96817 weekdays between the hours of 11:00 A.M. HST - 2:00 P.M. HST in order to fill out and sign all required documentation, at which time, the winner will receive the Prize.

1. By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by and be bound by all of these Official Contest Rules and the decisions of General Manager of Radio Station ("Contest Judge"). All decisions regarding the Contest including, but not limited to, selecting the winner, will be made by the Contest Judge, whose decisions shall be final. The Contest Judge may prohibit an entrant from participating in this Contest, in his/her sole discretion, if, in the opinion of the Contest Judge, the entrant fails to abide by these rules, or otherwise acts (i) in a non-professional or inappropriate manner, (ii) with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant or Radio Station, its parent company, its parent’s affiliated companies or its advertising and promotion agencies, or (iii) in any other disruptive manner. The winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and may be required to complete a W-9 taxpayer identification form.  All federal, state, and local laws apply.  Void where prohibited.  By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to release and hold Radio Station, NeoFill, their parent companies and its parent’s affiliated companies harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on any libel, slander, illegal competition or trade practice, violation of rights of privacy, infringement of copyrights or other rights of third parties.
