Official Contest Rules

1. “Event Sanitation Plus Queen For a Day Giveaway” (“Contest”) is open to any legal resident of the United States, eighteen (18) years-of-age or older, who resides in the KHCM-FM, KKOL-FM, KGU-FM, KAIM-FM, KHNR-AM broadcast listening area.  Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and immediate family and household members of Salem Media of Hawaii, Inc., licensee of KHCM-FM (“Radio Station”), NeoFill, their parent company, their parents’ affiliated companies, and their advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to participate in the Contest.  Entrants may enter the Contest one (1) time per day during the Contest Period. 
    
2. There will be a total of eight (8) winners: seven (7) First Prize winners and one (1) Grand Prize Winner.  The Contest will be conducted between 12:01 A.M. HST on Thursday, April 29, 2021 and 11:59 P.M. HST on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 (the “Contest Period”) solely online at www.HawaiiSalem.com (Radio Station website).  Entrants may enter the Contest during the Contest Period by going to the Radio Station website and clicking on the Contest link. Entry to the Contest requires first and last name, e-mail address and phone number.  The seven (7) First Prize winners and one (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected by random drawing on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. HST from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period and notified via telephone and/or e-mail submitted during entry.  No purchase necessary.  Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received.  

1. There are seven (7) First Prizes and one (1) Grand Prize.  Each First Prize includes the following:  One (1) Watanabe Floral Bouquet Voucher for $50.00 and a $50.00 EN Signature Brows and Beauty Studio Boutique Gift Certificate. The approximate retail value of the First Prize is $100.00.  The Grand Prize will consist of the following:  One (1) Watanabe Floral Bouquet Voucher, one (1) $200.00 EN Signature Brows and Beauty Studio Boutique Gift Certificate, and a Diamond and Emerald Earring and  Pendant Necklace Set from Pacific Diamond Wedding Rings.  The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $5,210.00.  No transfer, substitution or cash equivalent will be given for the Prize, provided however, Radio Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute a prize of equal or greater value.  No transfer, substitution or cash equivalent will be given for the Prize, provided however, Radio Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

1. The Watanabe Floral Bouquet Voucher expires at 4:00 P.M. HST on May 9, 2021.  Voucher must be used before then and can be redeemed at Watanabe Floral located at 1618 N. Nimitz Hwy., Honolulu, HI 96817. The EN Signature Brows and Beauty Studio Boutique Gift Certificate has no expiration date, but restrictions may apply as to what type of services for which the gift certificate may be redeemed.

1. The Winners may have to complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability and, where lawful, publicity release.  If Radio Station does not receive the affidavit and release by Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. HST, the Prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.  Except where prohibited by law, by signing the affidavit and release, the winner grants permission to the use of his/her/its name, likeness, picture, portrait, hometown, service mark, voice, biographical/other information, and statements for advertising and promotional purposes for this and other promotions by Radio Station without any additional compensation. The winner must go to Radio Station’s office located at 1160 North King St., 2^nd Floor, Honolulu, HI 96817 weekdays between the hours of 11:00 A.M. HST - 2:00 P.M. HST in order to fill out and sign all required documentation, at which time, the winner will receive the Prize.

1. By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by and be bound by all of these Official Contest Rules and the decisions of General Manager of Radio Station ("Contest Judge"). All decisions regarding the Contest including, but not limited to, selecting the winner, will be made by the Contest Judge, whose decisions shall be final. The Contest Judge may prohibit an entrant from participating in this Contest, in his/her sole discretion, if, in the opinion of the Contest Judge, the entrant fails to abide by these rules, or otherwise acts (i) in a non-professional or inappropriate manner, (ii) with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant or Radio Station, its parent company, its parent’s affiliated companies or its advertising and promotion agencies, or (iii) in any other disruptive manner. The winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and may be required to complete a W-9 taxpayer identification form.  All federal, state, and local laws apply.  Void where prohibited.  By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to release and hold Radio Station, NeoFill, their parent companies and its parent’s affiliated companies harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on any libel, slander, illegal competition or trade practice, violation of rights of privacy, infringement of copyrights or other rights of third parties.
